Pepperoni String Cheese Roll Ups- great for kids!

What kid (or adult, for that matter) doesnt like pizza?! These pizza roll up are quick, easy and sure to be a hit! We have used ham and american cheese in this recipe too, minus the garlic, and they were pretty tasty too…

1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 cheese sticks, halved
1 (3.5 ounce) package sliced pepperoni
optional – marinara or ranch sauce for dipping

Garlic Butter Glaze:
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Take each triangle of crencent roll dough and place about 6 pepperoni on the bottom of the triangle. Place half of a cheese stick on top and roll up. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.


While rolls are cooking, combine the melted butter, Italian seasonings, garlic powder and Parmesan cheese in a small bowl.

When rolls are done remove from the oven and brush with the garlic butter glaze. Serve with marinara or ranch for dipping.

Two Timin’ Pasta Bake

I like to cook, dont get me wrong. But so many recipes out there have SO MUCH prep time! This recipe is one of my favorites because its easy, fairly quick and delicious!! Perfect for the mama who is limited on time…isn’t that all of us??!;)



1 box penne pasta

1 (15 oz.) jar Alfredo sauce

1 (24oz.) jar Marinara sauce

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese (I subbed this with Italian blend)


Cook pasta according to directions and drain.  Mix the sauces together in a large bowl.

Add the mozzarella and stir to combine.  Then toss in the penne and toss to coat.


Pour pasta into 9×13 baking dish and cook on 350 for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.  Remove from oven and sprinkle with shredded parmesan cheese and bake for another 5 minutes. 


**I added chicken to the recipe- just threw it in when I added the penne- and it turned out great!! This dish has great flavor and is so much different, not to mention tastier, than the traditional “Monday night spaghetti”. Add some crispy french bread or garlic toast and you’re set! Hope you enjoy it as much as my husband and I do!:)
